Review #5 : Britannia

Hi to everyone. I haven't been posting any reviews as of late due to the following factors:

1. I started reducing my bread intake
2. I started gyming as of January so I'm watching my weight.
3. This bunny chow craze is starting to get a bit boring since my close friend Raleigh left our company - so now I don't have a 2nd in charge critic to assist me.

Last week Friday , the 26th of March 2010 myself an a work colleague decided to go to Britannia after a long absence to see if they still got that magic touch. Well, we got there during the busiest period in the month + it was a Friday so you could imagine how it was.

Well, I have been telling people this for the past 5 years and I will keep on saying this to anyone I meet - "Britannia has the best food in Durban, but the worst service"

Those that have been there know exactly what I'm talking about. I wouldn't want to describe the wait as many of you'll have already experienced this. Lets get to the food.

After around 45 minutes we got our food and headed back to the office. I unwrapped my bunny and had witnessed that the size of this bunny was to be questioned. I got hit with the case of a shorter quarter.

The curry was a bit dry and I was left with a dry crust at the end of the bunny. Britannia is still loading the oil in their curries. Though these things reduced the appeal of the bunny, the curry is still tasty as always.

I would rate this bunny at 7/10. Britannia - guys, you'll are losing the magic.

The long wait. The oil. The size of the bunny. The cost.
